We went to the planetarium with our cousin. There were lots of games there. One of the games was where you controlled a laser with your arm to destroy meteors that were attacking earth. Me (Juniper) and Margot were playing together. There were lots of different types of lasers but one of them was for emergencies only because it would take some of earth’s population with it. Margot used that a lot when she wasn’t supposed to. That is why we died almost immediately. (It was probably mostly Mom’s fault because she was helping Margot and didn’t know how to play.)
There was also a moon stone that they recovered on the first trip to the moon. It was super cool and there are only a few on display around the world.
Then there was a spot where you could make tornadoes by adjusting two little arrows representing Wind Shear and Updraft that went up and down.
Then there was a scale that if you stood on it it would tell you what you weighed on different planets. I weigh 144 pounds on Jupiter!
Then there was a screen where you could make your own solar system. You were trying to make it so the planets wouldn’t crash into each other or get sucked into the sun. Townes made a really good one. It was actually super hard to do. I kept getting all the planets sucked into the sun.
There was also something really weird and cool that I can’t explain so I’m just going to put a picture of it.
Then there was this thing where you could make your hands a black hole. Mine was the brightest. You could suck up other peoples black holes around you.
Some of us got to control a small Mars rover with coding directions. It was really cool.
There was also this giant marble run that was at least two stories high. There was also a pretty cool play place with a space ship. We got popcorn and Icees in the snack area. It was a really cool experience and if you want to go, it’s always free!
