Cripple Creek

We spent a day in Cripple Creek. The weather was gorgeous and the train ride was lots of fun.

We saw a working gold mine there and got to see their huge trucks from afar and remnants of past mines and machinery nearby.

We fed the donkeys whose ancestors used to work in the mines here.

Even Elsie fed one!

And then we found a park with a zip line and Dave shot our kids into the air 

and it was the most fun we had all day.
