Meow Wolf by Juniper

On Friday we went to Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, NM. Meow Wolf is a really weird place with a bunch of secret passageways and stuff. It’s basically a grown-up playground. There are a bunch of really weird rooms and a lot of ladders and bridges, and there’s a mystery you can solve about a made up family. So you look for clues all over to find out what happened to them.

Room shaped like a diamond that when you sit down it changes color because the lights are weight-activated.

Mirror place with glowing fluorescent coral.

My mom’s favorite room with a bunch of weird collections and bottle caps/tops.

Eye planetarium

When you first walk in there’s this big spooky mansion house and that’s where most of the secret passageways are.  One of the passageways was in the washing machine so you open the washing machine door and slide down a little slide. And then there’s a really weird room at the bottom with a bunch of clothes in the walls.

Secret passageway through the refrigerator.

Looking for clues.

Washing machine tunnel

There is a vertical bus that they installed a lot of buttons and when you press them there’s a projection on the front windshield that looks like moving tie dye. You have to lay back to sit.

Candy room

You could control these colors with knobs on the wall.

Riding in the bus

Else found her spirit animal

Townes’ favorite passageway was a bookcase that when you would swing it open it would lead to a room that looked like an alien spaceship. This is us in the spaceship.

There was a fake dinosaur skeleton and when you conk its bones it makes piano sounds. Here is us playing the dinosaur bones.
