Missouri Botanical Garden

We went to the Missouri Botanical Garden three times while we were in St. Louis. The gardens are so extensive that we saw different areas each time we went. It was really beautiful and varied, and the children’s garden is fantastic.

The Climatron has a ton of cool tropical plants inside - many we had never seen before.

This little pineapple plant was the cutest!

Awesome swinging bridge in their children’s garden.

The kids’ favorite thing at the children’s garden was this little stream with locks and plastic boats.

This garden maze was pretty fun.

The Japanese Garden may have been everyone’s favorite.

The koi were enormous!! We found food pellets on the ground (were pretty scrappy) and got to feed the koi for a long time.

Smelling the lilacs, my moms favorite flower.

Our last day there was the first day of the Chihuly exhibit so we got to see a bunch of beautiful blown glass sculptures all over the garden.

Sheep!!

More Chilhuly sculptures

There were a dozen turtles lined up, just basking in the sun.

Colorful glass Chihuly balls in the Japanese garden pond.

Oregon!

A few hours after seeing Crater Lake we finally made it to our Airbnb outside of Portland. The kids loved it from the first moment we walked...
