We drove 11 hours from San Antonio to Kansas to spend Christmas with grandparents and cousins, which is only half the time it usually takes us from Arizona so we were stoked. The kids were so excited to see family again and we loved getting spoiled by Dave’s parents.
We visited Liberty Jail and the Independence Visitor’s Center in Independence, Missouri where many of the early members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints briefly settled before moving west to Utah.
We could see the Community of Christ temple across the street - such an interesting building.
