We went to Mass one Sunday afternoon downtown at the famous San Fernando Cathedral downtown. It turned out to be a bilingual mass which I thought was awesome but the kids had a harder time staying engaged.
We walked around Market Square in downtown one day which is a huge Mexican market. We had some delicious tacos and churros and drooled over the beautiful Mexican dresses and decor everywhere. There was also some local animal agency that had the most gigantic bunny rabbit I’ve ever seen and a ball snake everyone got to hold.
Townes was pretty angry about the tacos but churros cure just about everything.
No big city trip is complete without a visit to the temple. The stained glass is beautiful.
