Today I am going to talk about a few of the museums we forgot to blog about. The first one I’m going to talk about is the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art  . There were quite a few interesting exhibits. My favorite was one called “I Know You Are But What Am I?” It had so many cool art pieces including some videos. One was about a man painting himself with green paint in front of a green screen so he disappeared! We could also do some printmaking so we spent a long time doing that.

First, you would use a pen to imprint a design on a foam sheet. 

You had to make everything backwards or else the design wouldn’t show up right. Then you would paint it with a roller dipped in paint, and then you would stamp it down on a normal piece of paper and a design would show up.

We also have gone to the BYU Paleontology Museum. It was quite small but it had lots of cool fossils. We had a bunch of pictures of us standing next to them showing how big the fossils were.

This is a giant ground sloth, also known as a Megatherium and my dad’s favorite animal.
