The Leonardo by Wren

We went to the Leonardo in SLC. It was really fun. It is part children’s museum, part art museum, part science museum. It is a member of the ASTC so we got discounted admission. There was this cool plane inside the museum. It was real but it didn’t work but we could still play in it and push all the buttons.

There was also this cool art place where we got to make masks and we could also make pop up cards. Townes and Mom made a halloween pop up card.

We learned about Leonardo da Vinci and how he liked math and art and science. He built lots of cool machines.

There was a wall where we could build our own chain reaction (Rube Goldberg) out of pulleys, buckets, rope, gears, and balls. I really liked it but Mom forgot to take a picture. There were flight simulators and these cool light-up balls that we could control with an iPad. There was a green screen too.

We spent the whole day here. It was awesome.
