We spent 5 days in southern Utah with my side of the family in early June this year. We had so much fun! It was a dream to be around family we hadn’t seen in 9+ months.
Abajo Mountains in the background
We got lots of photos of people with their mouths full, as is required of reunion photos.
We played lots of games.
We went to House on Fire in Bears Ears National Monument. We had friends bring us here a few years ago and it was fun to take cousins to it this time.
But first we were encouraged by Uncle Travis to eat a few tadpoles.
Mabel, Townes, and a few others gulped them right down.
We counted 9 hand prints on this rock.
If you look closely you can see a few of them near the top of this photo.
House on Fire is amazing.
We had fires, s’mores, music and stories.
More games
And another hike, but this one was too long and hot for Margot.
There were a bunch of ruins here, too!
And a beautiful rock arch.
More games
Getting loved on by my sisters.
Watercolors!
The whole crew… at least those who were still awake at midnight our last night.
We love our family.
